"Joshua Ruppert is an amazing designer. He transformed our very small city backyard into an oasis with multiple gathering spaces. We had given Josh an idea of our vision of the space. He reviewed it in earnest, and then cautiously asked if we would be offended if he modified it somewhat to maybe improve the flow. The design that he gave us is awesome because he listened to our ideas and transformed them into a functioning work of art. Since our project was completed, we have entertained many friends and family in our new playground. The comments we have received are some version of: 'You have created your own beautiful ecosystem' to 'This is the most amazing backyard that we have ever seen.' We recommend Josh to anyone with a landscape project."

STEP 1: CONSULTATION AND COLLECTING THE FACTS
Let's start out with getting to know YOU, the PROPERTY, and the ARCHITECTURE of your home. The initial consultation is the building block to thoughtful design. Please share with us any ideas and images that you have collected that best represent you and your style of design. Things to consider when we meet include capitalizing on views, the climate, and how to plan around your space. We would love to meet with your entire design team! Architects, interior designers, and builders are WELCOME! Once we gather all your project information, we will then learn the design guideline requirements and conduct necessary research to create a thoughtful and meaningful design solution.

STEP 2: CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
The next step is the CONCEPTUAL DESIGN, along with a preliminary budget to help educate you on the costs of the project. We will guide you through material selections, such as STYLE, COLOR, and TEXTURE. We will help you through your final decisions that best work with your NEEDS and your BUDGET.

STEP 3: TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
Technical drawings COMMUNICATE the design to the contractor. These drawings are also necessary to obtain competitive BIDS.

STEP 4: BID THE PROJECT
DRAWINGS and BID FORMS are sent out to bid with one of our preferred contractors or to be distributed out to a contractor of your choice. We will decide together which contractor is the better FIT for your project.
